Q: Do any of you like the way Jeep changed the style of the grand cherokee starting in 2005?
I don't like the way it looks as much. It's too square looking for me. I really think Jeep did a bad job designing the Grand Cherokee for the years 2011 and 2012.
A: I understand where you're coming from. I have an '02 GC and I really like that particular body style. I didn't like the boxiness if the new style, but to be honest it kind of grew on me. Especially the SRT8. ;)

Q: 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Stuck Glove Box?
Okay, as you saw by the tittle of the question, I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Before any of you cuss-words put "Get a new car" in the answers, I am, but not until 2011. Now my glove box (above the passenger seat) is stuck, and I have important papers and registration in it. I don't feel comfortable driving it until I know if I get pulled over I will be able to give the officer my information. I've tried prying it open, even tried locking it and then prying it open, and nothing works. I will bang against it to see if anything is stuck on the latching mechanism and NOTHING IS. So can someone simply give me some advice to how I can gain access to my car's glove box in the easiest way possible that keeps my car all in one peace and doesn't prevent me from putting any parts back to their original place. Pictures are always welcome, and THANK YOU SO MUCH. : )
A: If you go to http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f13/jammed-glove-box-door-496323/
and read the last comment problem solved. If that doesn't answer your question go to their home page and use their search engine. You can either type in "ZJ" or "Grand Cherokee" same thing you can learn a lot in the forum. I would suggest joining www.jeepforum.com they have 1000s of members who love jeeps and would love to help you. You probably could help others also.
The members helped with with fixing my rear wiper motor and other problems I've had with my Jeep.
I love that site!!!!!!!

Q: I'm 16, what car can I comfortably afford?
I used to have rich parents, until the economy was destroyed, and they divorced, dad got dui, laid off, bla bla bla.
But I myself make around $2000 /m via Marketing and Websites; I don't do much work, about an hour a day. I turn 16 next year and was thinking of getting a car. Between insurance and my income, which could I comfortably afford? I have straight A's, and I won't go under my dad, I'll go under my grandma who hasn't been in an accident her whole life. I'm looking at:
- 2011 Jeep Cherokee
- 2010 GMC Terrain
- 2010 Lexus ls
I know they probably aren't the idea car... considering money, but I can afford it (and my grandparents will help me if needed). I'm all set for college (thanks to my grandparents).
Also, my grandma offered me her 2009 BMW 328i. Should I just take that? She's looking to get that lexus suv that a lot of people like.
yeah my grandma only put 5000 miles on it. she doesn't drive often. they will pay for gass, repairs and everything. and the car is paid for. my grandma buys cars paid off, or she leases them. never finances
and I like how you try to get me to click your affiliate links, but I'm not going to. I'm a marketer myself ;)
A: I am not gonna say that I am totally sure about the answer.it is really depending on the personal mind.thus it would better for you to try to find the best answer yourself. Here www.Autoinsurancepro.info is a good resource for reference though.
Q: Car depreciation when new body styles come out?
So i want a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Srt8 but the lowest you can get a used one for is $30,000. The 2011 Grand Cherokee is coming out in May and i was wondering if that will cause the older Cherokee's cost to drop since it will be an old body style. And are things like that reflected on Kelley's blue book
A: All cars depreciate with time. That's a natural function of the car market.
You aren't going to see a huge drop on prices on a 3 year old Jeep when the new ones come out.
KBB prices aren't the best. Black Book actually reflects the wholesale market.
KBB and NADA just do their best to "guess" using historical depreciation rates and things.
Q: buying a new car next year, please help!?
ok, i narrowed down my choices to three. 2010 Dodge Challenger, Dodge Ram, or 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. All have their positives and negatives, but i don't know which one!!!! any feedback would be great
ok, let me clarify:
I understand that these are three completely different vehicles, but i love the appeal of all three.
I love the look of the Challenger, and i don't mind that it's large for it's seagment. I'm 6'2" and it's hard to find a two door i fit comfortably in, (i barely could get my feet into a Crossfire).
The Ram i like beacuse i have to make frequent trips from New York to South Carolina, and nothing rides better than a truck on the highway on a long trip, plus it has great storage, and offroad capabilities.
I actually never really considered a Jeep until i saw the 2011 model. It looks rugged, and high-class at the same time. I really liked the luxury of it, from the leather dash, wood trim, to the damn adjustable air suspension.
My problem is, do i choose the head-turning Challenger, the smooth-sailing Ram, or the luxury-stuffed Jeep?
